Legal identification still missing

This page is not ready to publish: the registered name, tax number, address and data contact email are missing. They go in lib/legal.ts. A legal notice with invented details is worse than no legal notice at all.

What data we process

From site visitors: the landing page, where the visit came from (campaign or link) and aggregate usage data. From those who register: name, email, the name and address of their publishing house, and billing details. From those using the platform: the content they upload — manuscripts, catalogue, contacts — and a record of what they do inside.

What for

To provide the contracted service, invoice it, handle support, give notice of anything affecting the account, and understand what brings publishers to the site. We don't sell data to anyone or share it for advertising.

On what legal basis

Performance of the contract for everything involved in providing and invoicing the service. Consent for marketing attribution and any commercial communication, withdrawable at any time. Legitimate interest for platform security and fraud prevention.

Who it is shared with

With the providers the service needs in order to work: hosting and database, a language model provider for manuscript analysis, payment processing and email delivery. All under a data processing agreement. The detailed list, with what each one does, is on the security and data page. Measuring this site is not on that list because nobody outside does it: we do, and it identifies nobody.

For how long

While the account is active and, afterwards, for the period required by law for tax and accounting obligations. A deleted manuscript is deleted. When an account is closed, data is removed except what must be kept by legal obligation.

Your rights

To access your data, correct it, delete it, object to processing, restrict it and take it elsewhere. Exercise them by writing to the data contact above. If you believe we haven't answered you properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Draft pending legal review before publication.
