Security and data

A manuscript belongs to whoever wrote it.

A publishing house holding other people's unpublished work answers for it. This is what we do with yours, said plainly and without compliance jargon.

About the artificial intelligence

About the artificial intelligence

We don't train any model on your manuscripts or your authors'. Not on the texts, not on the records, not on the decisions you make.

To analyse them, the text is sent to the model provider we use, whose policy for API use is not to train on what it receives. On Estudio and Publishing group you can use your own keys: then the relationship with the provider is directly yours.

Where each thing lives

The providers your information passes through, and what for. If one of them changes, this page changes.

Manuscripts and filesEncrypted storage in a private bucket. Reachable only from the server.
DatabaseEncrypted, hosted in the European Union, with per-publisher isolation at database level.
Manuscript analysisLanguage model provider, with no training on what is sent.
Payments and billingCertified payment gateway. Your card details never pass through us and aren't stored here.
EmailDelivery service for platform notices and the emails to your authors.

Each house sees its own

Each house sees its own

Isolation doesn't depend on the interface hiding a button: it lives in the database, row by row. Inside your house, you decide who sees what.

What you can do with your data

04

What you can do with your data

  • Export your catalogue whenever you like, in open formats
  • Delete a manuscript, and have it actually deleted
  • Close the account and take everything with you
  • Know who accessed what, with its log
  • Ask us for a signed data processing agreement

If your house needs the processing agreement, the full list of providers, or an answer to something that isn't here, write to us and a person will answer with a name, not a form.
